Stairs and steps – is there a difference? I’ve always thought of steps as being something outdoors, whilst stairs and staircases are more of an inside thing. How do you differentiate them?

These are some of my favourite stairs/staircases. You can see I have a thing for shadows on stairs!!

And these, I would classify as steps (they are outdoors!)

Gently curving

And even though this is meant to be a travel theme, many of these were taken in my own country. That still counts as travel, right?
