I’ve done another week, posting each day on my 365 project for Becky’s (‘The Life of B‘) December Skies theme. I started late so I won’t get a full month but I am trying for a photo a day in a square format.
Looking at the sky has become a morning ritual this month – a kind of mindfulness. The first thing I do when I wake up is look at the sky. At this stage of the month, I am looking for different viewpoints, frames and cloud formations. I am mindful of how the sky looks and how it changes rapidly. Ten minutes after I’ve looked, it can be completely different, so I’ve taken to carrying my camera around the house and garden with me, just in case I need to snap an instant in time.

I’m so happy that my camera has a tilt screen at the back – it means I can point my lens towards the sky and with a wide angle, can capture the most amazing frames.

Hi Becky. So sorry to hear you’ve had a bad time. Without knowing why (or prying) I hope that 2018 is a better year for you.
Thank YOU for the challenge, I loved it, as I said before. Funny how I started out thinking I would not be able to do it and then finding it such a mindful undertaking. You never know when life is going to throw you something that you need to pay attention to. Do let me know if you are doing any other fun themes once you get back on your blogging feet, although I will be checking your blog too.

Ooh, I like surprises! I will check tomorrow. I love squares, have done them a few times on my 365 project, my favourite was circles in squares. Have great New Year’s Eve!
