I joined Becky’s Square Sky challenge 5 days in and really wish I had come across it sooner. In the end, I took 26 photos. Here’s a piece I wrote on one of the shots when I posted it on my 365 project:
Looking at the sky has become a morning ritual this month – a kind of mindfulness. The first thing I do when I wake up is look at the sky. At this stage of the month (the last week), I am looking for different viewpoints, frames and cloud formations.
I am mindful of how the sky looks and how it changes rapidly. Ten minutes after I’ve looked, it can be completely different, so I’ve taken to carrying my camera around the house and garden with me, just in case I need to snap an instant in time.
I really want to thank Becky for putting the challenge together – it became an everyday delight for me! I am looking forward to more square challenges in 2018.
Here’s a couple of collages of them all – one in square format and one in a circle. Which one do you prefer? (If you want to see the individual shots, see my post one, two and three.)

Square Sky: in a Square

Square Sky: in a circle
To many more blue sky days,
I love the circle format! It looks like a rain drop reflection. Very cool!!

ooh loving the square sky circle, I have yet to collate mine all together – you have inspired me to think differently when I do finally get around to presenting it – so thank you.
Thank you also for joining in the challenge, so glad you enjoyed it as much as I did 🙂
