I decided in the middle of last week, that I was too exhausted to carry on, so I blitzed it on Saturday (with 3593 words) and another 3132 on Sunday.
I finished my NaNoWriMo for 2018 on the 25th November with 50181 words! Everyone who finishes their 50,000 words is considered a “winner“. I like the celebratory vibe of that idea!
It is something to celebrate after all – a month of finding time to write, finding the energy and inspiration to write, ignoring the Inner Critic – all these things take effort and determination. Well done to everyone who managed to win NaNo this year! Well done to me *grin*
Danbo put in a sterling effort to keep me company and managed to show up most days for a photo shoot (aka I managed to find the energy to take and post a photo of him every day!)
I apologise to all my lovely readers that I have been absent this month, from reading and commenting and generally being active. Hopefully, now I will be attending to my blog posts again – Monday Musings, Thursday Thorts, Foto Fridays and Serendipity Sundays!
December is almost upon us, and that means summer holidays are just a few short weeks away – aaahhh. I cannot tell you how much I am looking forward to them. It has been a tough year.
Until next time,
