TimeSquare: House Clocks

Hey there, welcome to Foto Friday!

Last December I participated fully in Becky’s Square Sky challenge and thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the bit about making the photo square, which is a different way of looking at skies.

This month her theme is ‘time‘. As I’ve done for her other challenges this year, I thought I might post once a week for my Foto Fridays.

I’m looking after a house that has a collection of funky clocks. This week I thought I’d share those. I do like photos with circles in squares. There is something very balanced and pleasing about the composition, symmetrical.

The first one, with an owl, is hidden in the downstairs part of the house where I don’t venture often. But as I love owls, it really appeals to me!  The second one I see every day, as it hangs in the kitchen. Coffee is not my beverage of choice in the morning, but its a cheerful clock all the same.

Which do you like?
