9th February 2019, England, Day 7
We went into some charity shops yesterday. I’d forgotten what treasure troves they are!
When I buy something from one, I feel like I’m contributing to the reuse and recycle culture, which I want to do more of in my life.
My latest purchase is sadly not a recycled item but I still bought it in a charity shop for a mere £2.50. Hopefully the purchase still contributes to their good cause.
Introducing ‘Winny’ my fabulous new owl scatter cushion. Isn’t he simply delightful? I could not resist.
He’s my Everyday Delight for today. What do you think?
More everyday delights to come no doubt, as I rediscover the delights of shops!
It is adorable!

So cute. Owls have recently begun to fascinate me for some reason. Koala’s will always be my favorite too but who says you can’t have more than one favorite?

Absolutely. No reason to limit oneself! 😊 koalas are enormously cute too, I can see why you like them!

He’s adorable! Or is it a she? I personalise all me dear to heart objects. Even my car is a she! All mechanics laugh at me, of course 🙂 fascination with owls runs high here in the States: I see so many cute owl-shaped cups, I want to have them all even though I have no particular attachment to owls.

Hee hee. All my cars bar one have been female! 😊 my owl is a male I’ve decided, he looks masculine to me…
