Aaah, the Scottish Road Trip. Things have been hectic, what with getting my son settled in University of Edinburgh and me trying to finish my book proposal, due this weekend. But, I finally snatched a few hours to process some photos from the trip. There were so many, it is hard to choose which to share here and on social media. If you have found your way here from an Instagram or Facebook post, you’ll see variations of the one posted there.
The Faerie Glen on the Isle of Skye. It took us almost an hour to find the glen – we discovered that the attractions on Skye (and in Scotland in general) are not well signposted! When we got there, there were so many people and cars, we struggled to find a place to park. The single track road was slick with water, the edges deep, muddy and treacherous for my little car. A fine drizzle fell as we climbed up the hills, making the pathway slippery underfoot. But it was worth the climb. The view was spectacular!

There will be another batch tomorrow! As we go through the series, I’d love to know which image or image set you like the most, which you don’t like even. I look forward to your comments.
