Aaah, the Scottish Road Trip. Things have been hectic, what with getting my son settled in University of Edinburgh and me trying to finish my book proposal, due this weekend. But, I finally snatched a few hours to process some photos from the trip. There were so many, it is hard to choose which to share here and on social media. If you have found your way here from an Instagram or Facebook post, you’ll see variations of the one posted there.
Various views of Isle of Skye. The rainbow was actually a double one, but sadly my camera did not want to record the second one! Click on the images to enlarge them.

There will be another batch in a few days time!

Thank you and for sharing your thoughts. The rainbow was so unexpected, just there as we came around a corner.

Thanks Shelly. It’s been quite emotional saying goodbye, knowing he will be far away. But he had to leave the nest sometime!
