Unpacking … still
I thought I’d finished with all my unpacking of boxes that came over from South Africa. But, no. I found more in the lock up.
One box did hold a welcome surprise for me and it it featured as today’s Everyday Delight.
Years ago, when my son was young, I was heavily into scrapbooking (I must have at least 12 albums bulging at the seams!). I bought myself an ingenious frame that takes square scrapbooking 12 x 12 pages. The clever thing about the frame is that it is open on one side, so you can slide creations in and out when the feeling takes you – so you never have to get bored with the content! Why are all frames this versatile?

Funnily enough, I have never used the frame for scrapping creations but for bits of “artwork” that I have coloured in and which I have stuck onto scrap booking paper.
As I unpacked this item, I was thrilled to re-discover it – I’d completely forgotten about it. And then doubly happy when I found 3 pieces of “artwork” inside it.
I have propped it up on top of the radiator next to my favourite chair, surrounded by the African beaded animals, so that I can look at it often. And now that it’s out, maybe I can create something new to showcase in it.

Collecting moments.
