Today in the Delight Diaries
A short entry today, prompted by the simplicity in a black and white photograph.
I’m mourning the lack of black and white photos in my recent photos. It tugs at my heart strings when I think that I am not working with black and white as much as I used to.
I love black and white photography but I don’t do enough of it. One reason is that when I switched from Mac back to Windows, I lost my access to various photo apps that I used to process into black and white, the main one being Silver Efex. It makes me mad that this product used to be free (when Google owned it) and then they sold it to DxO who now charge a fortune for the suite! It is completely inaccessible to me.
Anyway, I don’t feel like ranting today. I used the Snapseed app on my phone to process this one, and I like how it feels. The patterns and shapes are so clear without colour.
