More on dealing with lockdown boredom

I am grateful that I am well and healthy and that my family are too. I think about all the families who are juggling work, homeschooling during lockdown, and I know that are having a tougher time than I am.

So what else is capturing my attention and helping me to keep busy?

I love doing jigsaws and thank goodness I was lent two 1000 piece ones to do. The one I am currently doing is beautiful, but very hard because there are just so many earth colours to work with, especially in poor light. You can see what I mean from the photo.

I was thinking the other day how I came to love doing jigsaws so much. I don’t recall doing them as a child, so maybe the bug bit me when my son was young and we could do them together, especially during the winter months. At that time, my friend had a coffee shop and sold fabulous jigsaws, including the ones where you need to use your imagination to piece together the Wasgij ‘solution’. Have you ever tried one of these?

It’s funny what you remember isn’t it? Now that I’ve remembered these, I will add it to my “things to buy when I get a salary” list!
