I posted about my vision board back in February. I wanted to share what it looks like now!
Thursday Thort: making the days count
I was thrilled when someone on the 365project.org community drew our attention to a recent academic article called “The daily digital practice as a form of self-care: Using photography for everyday well-being” in the journal Health. The thrust of the article is that the practice of doing a 365 photo project has complex benefits and can be linked to the improvement of everyday well-being. For a long time, I've had my own thoughts about the benefits of these types of projects, and whilst they are not a cure-all for everyone, I certainly have had only good things to say about them. I really believe that my life has improved because of my ongoing project.
A Rudyard Kipling quote got me thinking about my favourite colour, purple.
Stop and breathe. Be healthy. Be around your friends and family. Be there for someone, and let someone be there for you. Be bold. Just be for a minute.” [Richard Branson]
I don't mind old buildings, in fact, I have a ''thing" for them, especially doors and windows - photographically of course! They have so much character and could tell so many stories if only they were able to talk.
