The beach in winter - there are still small delights to find if you look. So long since I shared any photos taken with my Canon 600D. ---- Which of the three is your favourite? . #winter #canonuk #iow #isleofwight #appley #shell
I was working with "Dolly" today in my volunteering role. She is our 'model' for the clothes we sell on line. When I took these photos I realised she actually has a beautiful face! . #iow #isleofwight

Tutoring session today - working on multiplicative thinking using arrays. These will help visualise multiplication tables, commutativity and distributive laws. All done with visual, hands on resources and some games. . The colours and approach also remind me this is a fun and joyful way to learn. #joyspotting . #mathsisfun #iowmathsisfun #primarymaths #mathstutoring #mathstutor

I'd really love to get a "maths is fun" vibe going on the Island and in time, I'd like to start after-school maths clubs (contact me if you are interested in that idea). I can do a one-to-one session with your child or small group sessions with two or more children of the same age. If you've been reading my posts, you'll know that I also offer parent and child sessions, where you can have fun doing maths together as a family. My pricing model is based on the idea that you will need more than one session for this approach to be effective, the ideal is about 12 sessions (12 weeks). However, much can be achieved in 6 sessions. I offer discounts if you book 6 or 12 sessions up front. For example: Single sessions for one child start at £22.50. There are discounts for booking more 6 or 12 sessions in advance • 6 sessions £124 (£17.8 per session) • 12 sessions £249 (£19.8 per session) Pricing also changes depending on how many people attend the session (i.e. parents and similar aged siblings) . Sessions will be between 60 and 75 minutes long. I have a special offer running from now until Christmas. More about this tomorrow.
