April 365 Project – Travel Shots
I have always said to myself that I am NOT a landscape photographer. I tend to gravitate towards details and macros; shapes, patterns and textures and you can see some of those kinds of shots in my monthly posts. But I think I am beginning to understand how to compose a landscape shot and to make it my own - developing a style in this genre I suppose. If I look closely at them, I can also see shapes, textures and patterns within the bigger picture - my core style elements.

This month I want to do two things: move beyond the kitchen, because its too easy to shoot the multitude of circular things in the kitchen and concentrate on simplicity in my shots, showcasing the shapes and subjects. Read more to see if I am doing what I said!

This year, I want to be more focused on writing up my journey. Its a journey I've been on since 2014 and one I want to document in a more structured way. I am hoping to share my monthly themes along with my learning, successes and failures as I go along. A feature with 12 chapters.
